Just, incredible. Ok, I'm an extremely novice tattoo artist, I just recently picked it up and have been teaching myself. Ok, for starters, I bought one of those cheap all in one kits with a foot pedal foe like 37 bucks, and for the first few weeks, it was fine. I started to notice as I got better, it was just such an uncomfortable and heavy machine. I did sooooo much research, and bought this. I bought the middle weight, as I should never need over 5.0 stroke length, but I wanted a liner because, well, that's where I'm at, just doing traditional line work. This thing.. omg. First off, it is so much lighter than it looks. The corded cheapo I bought has to be Luke 2 times heavier. It's like holding a pen, it's also much thinner than my old one. Not to mention the difference in machine vibration OMFG. I immediately improved on line saturation and stability the second it hit the fake skin. If you're on the fence, GET IT. Make sure to get the 4.0-5.0 if you're starting put. You'll just be practicing needle depth and pulling or pushing straight lines anyways. You'll immediately see the difference when using a 4.5 cam for line work over your cheapo 3.5 fixed cam
