It packs a powerful punch when blowing out the smoke, but this can be controlled with just sending out the smoke in small doses with the wireless remote. To start up the smoke, you just press "Start" on the wireless remote, and I'm having trouble with remembering that to end the smoke, you actually have to press the other button, the "End" button. Otherwise, this is a great fog machine for the price!I was sent a used product with no remote.Product didn't work.Did not work.Got this from Halloween City the night before Halloween when we discovered our three other fog machines were not working (go figure). Tested it today, Halloween, and the thing SCREAMED!!!!! It has an alarm that is supposed to go off if the juice is low (it was not). We let it warm up for ten minutes, just in case, and every time the machine fogged the stupid thing screamed the whole time.I took it back today, Halloween, in a rush, and exchanged it. The guy behind the counter said to mix the juice with 1 part water (the directions say do not use water). So, instead of possibly ruining the thing, my husband dismantled the alarm. The buyer should NOT have to do that. Also, the control cable did not work.Other than the fact you need to modify this product, bear in mind it does not have an automatic control switch. It has a remote that seems like a great idea until you realize it is the ONLY thing that turns it on or off.AVOID!I picked this up from PartyCity tonight. After deciphering the very poor English in the instructions it produced a grand total of approximately 3 seconds of barely visible fog. Its going back tomorrow.It doesn't work......got it from party city online :( .....arrgghh..... good thing I bought it several weeks before my halloween party.....I bought mine from Menards; thanks to Amazon there is a place for all of us to review products even though we did not buy them from Amazon. I bought this for some extra halloween fun and tested it about a week before. It took about 30 min for it to heat up to the point that it worked but it did blow smoke... a good amount in fact. Fired it up again on halloween and not a single puff even after leaving it plugged in most of the night. It did get hot but it would not smoke so after several hours I unplugged it fearing it could be a fire hazard. I have tested it again several times since halloween and it still will not work. Its off to the trash with this one I guess since I didn't save the receipt or the box. Made in China... of course.Worked when we initially plugged it in. Then stopped. Brand is: Seasonal Visions Intl. Junk.
