I have made about 50 shirts with no issues. The only thing I have noticed, that doesn't really cause issues, is that it does not stay at temp. The good thing is it only goes down in temp not up. So if it is set at 300 it goes up to temp then down to 298ish. The only thing I don't like is the hot plate is very loose. It does always line up with the bottom plate. Then there is the pieces that hold the bottom plate that allows it to slide. The screws were stripped out upon arrival, so I replaced them with screw with a bolt and no more trouble.I emailed the seller and they sent me a video that the girl moves so fast you can not see what she his doing. My Timer DOES NOT WORK. I have tried everything. There must be something that you have to do but no chance of figuring it out. It=f any one haas please tell me.It is also very easy to tip over. I have a Vivid hat press and it is super easy to use and the timer works and beeps when its done. I wish I had ordered the heat press from themBought this for my son as he wants to get into making his own apparel line. It works well. It could be a little easier to use, but for a starter it works great. The only thing is the heat has caused some of the paint to peel on the articulating arm.So I finally unpacked the heat press last night. First thing I noticed is that the instructions are not very helpful. There were 4 suction cup "feet" and a "handle" for the pressure selection wheel in a zip lock baggie, except that nowhere in the instructions does it mention these and so I had to go to youtube (not very helpful either) and basically guess what those things were! Second thing I noticed is that the "0-ring" on the cable to connect the press to power source is no longer and "o" (I believe it's because the cable was in the press during shipment--it made a great indentation on the pad), it's now an oval and so I can not properly secure the cable to the power source (though it does work), Then when I turned it on I noticed that it pulls so much power that my lights dimmed. I then used a surge protector and that did not change a thing, my lights dim. Once it gets to the right temp, the lights undim, but since it need to keep the temp, they will be bright for a few seconds then dim for a few second over and over again. Then I noticed that the "handle" to set the pressure is not very sturdy as the wheel is very hard to turn. The handle to lock is also very hard to close. being that it is plastic, I suspect that it will break soon :(. When I finally began pressing, I found that the pressure is not even. I was making sublimation key chains and not very part of the blank received equal pressure as some parts where duller than others. The last thing I would like to mention is the smell! It smelled so strong that I got a headache, lightheaded and semi nauseous. I am using it in an open room with open doors and still the smell was horrible. I was so excited to be able to do larger projects, but I will probably call Amazon tonight to return this item. So disappointedNot the greatest product I have seen. No product assembly instructions or product operation manual with this heat press. Was able to figure out the assembly and operation by googling the product. Suction cups don’t hold well at all so have to be very careful when using this product. It is meant to be a swing away arm versus a list heat press. But without good suction when swinging the arm away, the heat press falls over often.Easy to use and heats up great. The only thing was the suction cups for the tables don’t always stay causing it to tip when swinging the top out of the way.I bought this heat press for my DTG Printer and Heat Transfer Vinyl for my Multimedia Program, my students were going to use this. But this is totally unsafe out of the box. It has a swivel top that when you move it to either side, the suction cups at the bottom of the heat press that are supposed to keep it in place, completely unstick and I had the heat press fall over onto the ground several times. Luckily no one was hurt, but one of my students definitely could have forgotten it was hot and tried to catch the hot heat press.We are still using it now, but had to put ratchet straps on both sides to secure the heat press to the table so it wouldn't fall. It also feels very cheap and the guy that came to set up my DTG Printer, kind of shamed me for purchasing this heat press. I was so embarrassed that I bought this heat press.
