I researched this pretty well posting questions and I called Fitness First hoping to get details critical to my purchase . Nobody had much information Fitness First sales rep admitted they were predominately a MMA equipment dealer just venturing into the functional trainer market . The research led me to hold off for awhile . Finally I assessed timeline to order similar unit from different company which was 2 months so I pulled the trigger . It arrives in a timely manner assembly wasn't bad . Day 1 , pulleys seem rough but everything else was good . Later that day I notice the cable was literally shaving it's self down to where shavings collected on the floor . I immediately contact First Fitness tech support . The tech support was a very nice lady who was a sales rep and knew little about the product . I emailed my pictures and receipt . Day 2 , nothing . My two calls weren't returned or either email . Day 3 I get a email stating we only have one functional trainer unit left and we aren't willing to give you the cable from that unit . She was very apologetic admitting they simply hadn't stocked any replacement parts . I am a small fitness center owner of 25 years usually when something goes wrong the manufacturer does something even if it isn't your preferred resolution . Day 4 I contacted Amazon they looked into the matter only to be told the same thing I was told the day before . Amazon was really helpful . I explained I'd paid to have it assembled and would now pay to have it disassembled . There went 300 dollars . My biggest fear still awaited , how do I repackage a 1200 pound multifaceted machine that came on a pallet and was professionally packaged . Amazon gave me some tips on packaging and after some checking said based on the situation just do my best to get things boxed up and after item is picked up it's no longer my responsibility . They pick it up Tuesday . Expensive lesson .
