How long has it been since we saw Amy and Javier? How long since we talked with Amy's grandmother, the homicidal (no, genocidal) Portia? How long since we got to see Madeline Ashby's crackling, genre-crushing vNs make us question what it means to be alive and/or human? Too long.At last, the end is here.If you devoured the previous two books the way Amy devoured her grandmother (with gusto and apprehension), you'll want to get this book. And, if you haven't read any of the Machine Dynasty books, you're in for a tasty, nasty treat. Ashby pulls no punches. In fact, she follows up her punches with a few roundhouse kicks to the head. Get all three books and dive in.
